About us, short history

UAB SDL Engineering was founded in 2011 as an engineering/design company. The idea behind the foundation of our Company was to gather top-level specialists and become a market leader in the provision of services related to the engineering and development of special metal stamping tools.
As the Company grew and evolved, expanded its circle of customers and kept analysing the market needs, a production unit was established in 2014 and the first CNC machine was purchased. The latter equipment became the beginning of dedication and hard work that grew into a vision – to become a leading manufacturer of metal stamping equipment in the Baltic States.
Initially, the main market of our Company’s focus was the automotive industry. However, soon the circle of customers widened to include manufacturers from furniture fittings, construction and electrical industries. We are proud that the metal stamping equipment designed and manufactured by our Company has been used to produce parts for such world-class giants as VW, AUDI, BMW, MERCEDES-BENZ, VOLVO, SCANIA, IKEA, JYSK, H&M, McDonald, etc.
During all these years of arduous work, a great deal of work experience and customer recognition has been accumulated. The team of SDL Engineering is proud of being able to successfully implement projects not only in Lithuania but also abroad.

The Company is rapidly expanding its range of services and currently offers not only the services of engineering and production of metal stamping equipment but also stamping of parts with our automatic stamping presses as well as sheet steel processing, i.e. laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, powder coating, electroplating, assembly of structures and products, etc.

We operate in an area where time saving and high-quality are the most valued. Our Company’s priority is the fulfilment of orders and implementation of projects in a timely and high-quality manner.
